We have been escorting exceptional transports for transport operators from both the UK & Europe since 1997.

  Viking Pilots are based in Devon but with Escort vehicles in Dorset, Somerset, Cornwall, Hampshire, Humberside and Staffordshire we can cover all the UK if needed. We are also covering France, Spain, Holland and the rest of Europe we have experience in haulage and abnormal loads across the UK and in Europe.

Everyone at Viking Pilot Cars has had previous experience in the haulage industry and hold HGV1 and have driven abnormal loads in the past so are able to steer trailers if needed.

All escort vehicles are over and above the code of practice laid out by the Highways Agency and we can assist with all aspects of loading as well as assisting your drivers with route and traffic advice.

We will arrange all the required permits and do any road or site surveys needed.
